Robert K. Haldeman, 81, of Northampton, died June 6, 2014, at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenberg. He was the husband of Virginia (Kochenash) Haldeman for 56 years.
Born in Northampton, he was a son of the late Kermit and Catherine (Berg) Haldeman.
He was in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War.
He worked for the former Cross Country Clothes for many years. After retiring, he worked part time at Allentown Beverage and Kern's Auctioneer.
He was a member of Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church, Northampton.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Marcia and her husband Jeffrey Churetta and Judy, all of Northampton; three grandchildren, Matthew and his wife Audra Churetta, Jennifer and her husband Christopher Bodnar and Dr. Jessica Churetta and her husband Damien Ciecwisz; four great-grandchildren, twins Robert and William Churetta and Chase and Cole Bodnar; a sister, Joanne and her husband Arnold Kuntz; nieces; and nephews.
He was predeceased by a brother, Donald Haldemann; and a sister, Gail Haldemann.
