Michael E. Ambrose, 93, of Bethlehem died June 14, 2014, at Saucon Valley Manor, Hellertown. Born in Camden, N.J., he was a son of the late Michael A. Ambrose and Evangeline Ambrose. He was the husband of Helen A. (Aldinger) Ambrose for 67 years.

He was in the U.S. Navy during World War II aboard the U.S.S. Bainbridge in the Pacific theater.

He worked at the Union Garage, Bethlehem; for the County of Northampton and at the Bethlehem Steel.

He was a member of St. Anne's Church.

He was a member of the MORA Club, Bethlehem.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two nephews, Kevin J. and his wife Bonnie Kelleher of Bethlehem and John J. Jr. and his wife Susan Kelleher of Hellertown; a grand-nephew, Patrick Kelleher; and three grand-nieces, Kathleen, Megan and Morgan Kelleher.
