Henry J. McClenahan Sr., 95, of St. Petersburg, Fla., died April 24, 2014. He as the husband of the late Lillian M. (Oberecker) McClenahan for 51 years.

He and his wife were proprietors of the former Central Hotel in Emmaus for 35 years. Born in Whitehall, he was the son of the late William and Augusta (Steitz) McClenahan.

He was a former president of the Lehigh Valley Tavern Association.

He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Coplay.

He was a veteran of World War II.

He is survived by sons, Henry Jr. and Ronald W.
