Eileen L. Hines

Eileen L. Hines, 73, of Salisbury Township, died May 15, 2014, at The Quakertown Center with her family by her side. Born in the Bronx, N.Y., she was a daughter of the late Helen and Basil Brennan.

She was a member of St. Thomas More parish since its founding in 1966.

In 1983 she started working in radio sales as an account executive for WSAN AM and then WXKW FM, ending her career with Clear Channel Communications in 2007. Before that she worked as a high school English literature teacher at St. Barnabas High School in the Bronx, N.Y. after earning a masters degree in English literature from Hunter College.

She was a loving mother and homemaker to her children and a devoted grandmother.

She is survived by a sister, Dolores and her husband Anthony Marx, of Greeley; children, Eileen, of Davidsonville, Md., Kristen, of Schwenksville, William, of Macungie, Brian, of Montgomeryville, Shawn, of Center Valley; Douglas, of Randolph, N.J.; 11 grandchildren. She was predeceased by sisters, Joan, Helen and Katherine.
