Wilma A. Elinitsky, 87, of Whitehall, died June 11, 2014, at home. She was the wife of John Elnitsky; they were the first couple married in St. Stephen of Hungary Church, Allentown, in 1956.
Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late William and Anna (Vago) Anthony.
She was a 1944 graduate of Central Catholic High School.
She was a claims representative for the Social Security Administration for 20 years. She worked for the Allentown and Whitehall-Coplay school districts.
She was a member of St. Stephen of Hungary Roman Catholic Church, Whitehall, where she was a member of the Women of St. Elizabeth, the pro-life committee and the Golden Agers.
She was a den mother.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, John and his wife Christine of Denver, N.C.; a daughter, Anne and her husband Steven Kellner of West Windsor, N.J.; three grandchildren, James Elnitsky and Katie and Caroline Kellner; two great-grandchildren, Jaden and Chance Elnitsky; and several nieces and nephews.
Arrangements were made by Gilbert Funeral Home Inc., Whitehall.
