Julia V. Superka, 95, of North Catasauqua, died June 10, 2014. She was the wife of the late Edward R. Superka.

Born in West Catasauqua, she was a daughter of the late John and Vladislava (Tunkevich) Staversky.

She was a secretary for more than 21 years in the financial department of General Electric before retiring. Prior to that, she worked at the former General Ribbon Mills, Catasauqua.

She was a member of St. Lawrence the Martyr Catholic Church, North Catasauqua.

She was a former member of the North Catasauqua Borough Council.

She is survived by nieces; nephews; and great-nephews.
