Hope M. Sandt, 69, of Allentown, died June 2, 2014, in Lehigh Center, Macun-gie.

Born Dec. 13, 1944, in Hellertown, she was the daughter of Joy M. (Kemmerer) Sandt of Allentown and the late William J. Sandt.

A graduate of the former Hellertown High School, she was a respiratory therapist and spent many years caring for her rescued feline companions.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by siblings, Rochelle K. Harris of Lehighton, Beverly J. Bast of Allentown, Lyndell I. Eddy of Fallston, Md., William J. Sandt of Hellertown; best friend Chris Kulanko of Allentown, who was like a daughter; several nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions may be made in her name to any animal rescue organization.
