Donald P. Arnold, 77, of Orefield, died June 14, 2014, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township.

He and his wife Patricia (Gower) Arnold celebrated their 58th wedding anniversary on Jan. 28.

Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Clifford P. and Marie M. (Jones) Arnold.

He retired in 1999, from Rodale Inc., Emmaus, after 12 years of service as a mail truck driver.

Previously, he was a truck driver and set up mobile homes for Love Homes Inc., Allentown, for 19 years.

After retirement, he worked as a cart handler at Walmart, Trexlertown.

A devoted husband and father, he treasured his granddaughters and great-grandson.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, John P. and his wife, Melissa, of Allentown; two granddaughters; a great-grandson and beloved dog, Sassy.

His funeral service will be private.
