Betty J. Beidler, 83, of Allentown, died May 27, 2014, in her home.

She was the wife of the late Gerald L. Beidler Sr.

Born April 13, 1931, in South Whitehall Township, she was the daughter of the late Raymond F. and Gertrude M. (Hein) Behney.

She was a physician's assistant and receptionist for the late Dr. Marvin Weiss, podiatrist, Allentown, for seven years before retiring in 2000.

Prior to that, she was a meat wrapper at the former Pantry Pride.

She was a member of Jordan United Church of Christ, South Whitehall, where she formerly sang with the choir for more than 25 years.

Her survivors include a son, Gerald L. Jr. and his wife, Gloria, of Allentown; and brother-in-law, Robert C. Bleiler of Wescosville.
