Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 1335 Old Carriage Road, Kreidersville, will hold vacation Bible school June 23-27, 9 a.m.-noon.

Children ages 3 through sixth grade are welcome to attend and learn the "Story of Joseph" through stories, songs, crafts and more.

Each child will need a white T- shirt, which will be used during craft time. It can be brought from home or purchased at VBS.

Every year during VBS, the participants work on a mission project. This year's offering will be given to the soup kitchen at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Eighth and Walnut streets, Allentown.

The East Allen Township Volunteer Fire Department will hold a fundraiser 5-10 p.m. Monday, June 30, at the Blue Monkey, 1092-1094 Howertown Road, North Catasauqua.

Twenty percent of sales will benefit the fire department.

The Allen Township Fire Company will hold its annual yard sale 8 a.m.-3 p.m., Saturday, July 26, at its location at 3530 Howertown Road.

The kitchen is serving breakfast and lunch.

A bake sale and a basket social will take place inside the hall as well.
