Teresa R. Durkin, 85, of Emmaus, died June 14, 2014, at Cedarbrook. She was the wife of Bartholomew J. Durkin for the past 57 years. Born in Exeter, she was the daughter of the late John and Emma (Lipka) Shirko.

She was a member of St. Ann's Catholic Church, Emmaus.

She is survived by her husband; daughters, Dr. Jane and her husband David Brodhead, of Shavertown; Mary and her husband Michael Grablick, of Macungie, and Anne, of Richmond, Va.; sons, Brian and his wife Kathleen, of Baltimore, Patrick, of Philadelphia; six grandchildren. She was predeceased by siblings, Al Shirko, Emily Benish, Agnes Simko and Ann Novack.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11 a.m. June 18 in St. Ann Catholic Church, Emmaus. Arrangements were made by the Bachman, Kulik & Reinsmith Funeral Home, Allentown.
