Helen Yergey, 82, of Lower Macungie Township, died June 11, 2014, at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township. She was the wife of the late G. Richard Yergey, who died Nov. 27, 2007. Born in North Coventry, she was the daughter of the late John and Anna (Malenoski) Surma.
She was a member of St. Paul Orthodox Church, Emmaus and a former member of St. Nicholas Russian Orthodox Church, Bethlehem.
She was a bank teller for National Penn Bank, working out of the Bally branch for many years, retiring in 1996. Previously she worked as part of the secretarial staff at Robinson Clay in Pottstown.
She loved spending time with her grandchildren and always remained active in her church.
She is survived by a daughter, Anastasia and her husband Damian Vansuch, of Lower Macungie Township; grandchildren, Gabriel and Juliana Vansuch.
