According to the South Whitehall Township police blotter, money was stolen from a cleaning cart 1 p.m. May 31 at the Howard Johnson, 3220 Hamilton Blvd..
This incident remains under investigation.
Vehicle windows shattered
A vehicle window was shattered after it was hit with a BB pellet 2:03 a.m. May 31 while the vehicle was parked at 2247 Focht Ave., South Whitehall Township.
In a separate incident, a vehicle window was shattered after it was hit with a BB pellet 1:44 a.m. May 31 while the vehicle was parked at 1983 Whitehall Ave.
Badge reported stolen
A badge was stolen 3 p.m. May 30 from 1925 Route 309.
This theft remains under investigation.
Playground
damaged
Profanity was reported written in marker on the playground equipment 11:10 a.m. May 30 at Cetronia Elementary School, 3635 Broadway.
Home burglarized
A home in the 3500 block of W. Congress St. was burglarized 7:55 p.m. May 29. This burglary remains under investigation.
Man arrested
According to the police blotter, Charles Savary, 56, of Macungie, was arrested for retail theft 1:30 p.m. May 29 for allegedly stealing $33.95 worth of miscellaneous items from Kmart, 4701 Tilghman St.
Cat found
in township
A cat was found just before 4:30 p.m. May 28 roaming in the area of 1914 Harold Ave.
Racoon found
in township
A racoon was found in a yard 9:30 a.m. May 27 at 1623 N. 20th St. In a separate incident, a racoon was found 4:44 p.m. May 28 at 1936 Custer.
Man arrested
for retail theft
According to the police blotter, Robert Allison, 19, of Allentown, was arrested 1:05 p.m. May 25 for allegedly stealing $271 worth of miscellaneous items from Target and for possession of drugs.
