LHS' Haines receives award

Cassandra Haines, '14, Connecticut College, was awarded the college's Charles "Bud" Church Teaching Award for Social Justice. The Liberty HS '10 graduate wass presented with the award at the annual Honors & Awards ceremony May 5.

Volunteer Center news

Karen Daly Smith has joined the staff at the Volunteer Center as vice president of programs. She previously was on the Board and was a board chair. She was a coordinator and facilitator for executive director and volunteer coordinator forums and has led several of our programs on leadership.

She will be responsible for further expanding and developing corporate relationships and agency programs such as Day of Caring, Mini Days of Caring, Project Blueprint and Volunteer Program Management Series. For information, call 610-807-0430.
