Vera M. (Bauer) Doty, 90, of Allentown, died May 10, 2014, in Westminster Village. She was the wife of the late Nelson G. Doty. Born in Union Township, Adams County, Ind., she was the daughter of the late Edwin and Clara (Lehrman) Bauer. She lived in Indiana until 2012.

She worked as an educational secretary for Decatur High School, Bellmont High School and Fort Wayne Northside High School.

She was a member of The Lutheran Church of the Holy Spirit, Emmaus and was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary.

She is survived by a son, Richard and his wife Ruth, of Wescosville; daughter-in-law, Marie, of Nicholson; seven grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son, Stephen L.; a brother and two sisters.
