Ruth E. (Druckenmiller) Nierhaus, 80, of Macungie, died May 14, 2014, at Cedarbrook Nursing Home, Allentown. She was the wife of the late Dale O. Nierhaus. Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Ellen (Ruth) Druckenmiller.

She was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ, Emmaus.

She was employed by Rodale Manufacturing for many years until the company closed. She then worked as a seamstress for Marjo Mills and most recently worked in the produce department at Weis Markets, Emmaus.

She enjoyed bowling for many years at the Emmaus Owls Club and Mountainville Bowling Alley.

She is survived by a daughter, Bonnie Walsh, of Macungie; sister, Flossie Walls; brothers, Gerald and Roland Druckenmiller; grandchildren, Tom Malinowski and Mathew Walsh. She was predeceased by a brother, Perry Druckenmiller.
