Mieka Ryan Edelstein, 33, of Emmaus, lost his brave battle with cancer May 29, 2014. He was the son of Jonni Balliet and Jeff Edelstein. In spite of the aggressive cancer, he remained incredibly stoic and never complained. He had an amazing will to live and as a testimony to his wit and lovable nature, his friends were with him through the end.

He is survived by his mother and her husband, David Balliet; father, and his wife, Sue; sister, Kate; stepbrothers, Peter and John Balliet. He was predeceased by Andrew Balliet.

Services are private. Arrangements were made by the O'Donnell Funeral Home, Allentown.
