Marilyn J. Smicker, 82, of Coplay, died May 22, 2014, at home. She was the wife of Michael Smicker for 60 years.

Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late Harold and Mabel (Bender) Olenwine.

She was a utility operator for the former AT&T Microelectronics, Allentown, retiring in 1990.

She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Coplay.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, Glenn and his wife Marci of Whitehall; three daughters, Michelle and her husband Carl Schmall of Whitehall, Mary and her husband Michael Dobish of Northampton and Monica and her husband John Pavelko of Coplay; nine grandchildren; and four great–grandchildren.

She was predeceased by two brothers, Harold and Sherwood.
