Irene M. Deibert, 95, of Bethlehem, formerly of Slatington, died May 30, 2014, in the VNA Hospice House of St. Luke's, Lower Saucon Township.

She was the wife of the late Vance T. Deibert.

Born May 6, 1919, in Egypt, Whitehall Township, she was the daughter of the late Foster W. and Annie May (Smith) Heintzelman.

A postal clerk at the Treichlers Post Office for 10 years, she retired in 1970.

She was a member of Union Evangelical Lutheran Church, Schnecksville.

Her survivors include a daughter Faith R. Deibert of Allentown; sister Ruth H. Miller of Bethlehem; grandsons, Jerry and Jacob Klotz; godsons Harry Deibert Jr., Gary Hall and Jeffrey Hall; and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by a foster daughter, Darlene Klotz Green, and siblings, Stanley, Luther, Curtis and Willard Heintzelman and Alice Miller.
