A Borough of Northampton man has been killed in a traffic accident.

According to Pennsylvania State Police, Nicholas Aronis, 30, of Northampton was fatally injured June 2 at 3:50 p.m. while operating his motorcycle west on Silvercrest Road in the right lane of travel, in East Allen Township.

Coy Tutt, 68, of Dike, Texas, who was operating a tractor trailer made a left turn in front of Aronis resulting in Aronis striking the front end of Tutt's vehicle, police said.

The crash remains under investigation. Police are seeking witnesses.
