Marie J. Ehas, 81, of Macungie, died May 23, 2014, at Cedarbrook, Allentown. She was the wife of William H. Ehas. They were married for 59 years. Born in Macungie, she was the daughter of the late Viola (DeFrain) and John G. Hersch.

She was a member of Solomons United Church of Christ, Macungie.

She was a supervisor at the former John Rems Co., Macungie.

She is survived by her husband; daughters, Kay, of Jacksonville, Fla.; Diane and her husband Stephen Barnes, of Macungie; Beth and her husband William Shapcott, of Charlotte, N.C.; sisters, Hallerine "Sis" Moyer, of Macungie; Dorothy Krasley, of Tobyhanna; four grandchildren, Bret, Hattie, Samantha, Claire. She was predeceased by a sister Catherine Edelman.
