Ronald J. Meleski, 68, of South Whitehall Township, died May 12, 2014, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township. He was the husband of Patricia (Nowakowski) Meleski for 40 years.

Born in Wilkes Barre, he was a son of the late John and Julian (Kocian) Meleski.

He was in the U.S. Coast Guard during the Vietnam conflict.

He was an engineer for many Lehigh Valley companies, last working for Mallinckrodt–Baker, Phillipsburg, N.J.

He was a member of St. Elizabeth of Hungary Catholic Church, Whitehall, where he assisted with church cleaning.

He was a member of Unami Fish and Game Protective Association, Emmaus.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a brother, Edward and his wife Kim Meleski of Michigan; and a great–nephew, Micheal III.
