Romaine K. Kammerer, 89, of Largo, Fla., formerly of Emmaus, died on April 30, 2014, at her home in Largo.
She and her husband Paul R. Kammerer were married 68 years.
She was a daughter of the late Earl and Lillie Kopp.
She worked in the payroll department of Air Products and Chemicals before retiring to Florida in 1996.
A member of the Lutheran Church of the Holy Spirit, Emmaus, for more than 30 years, after retiring to Florida, she and her husband became actively involved in the Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Largo.
She loved spending time with family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was fiercely competitive and loved playing cards, Rummy cubes and Scrabble.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by daughters Cynthia and her husband, Daniel Mosser, of Bradenton, Fla.; Susan K. and her husband, Robert B. Smith, of Allentown; son David and his wife, Elizabeth, of West Chester, Ohio; sister Dolores Chappel of Waynesboro, Va; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and many more family members and friends.
She was predeceased by brothers Denton and George Kopp.
A Celebration of Life was held May 13 at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church.
A graveside service will take place in the Lehigh Valley in July.
