Anthony "Tony" Kumernitsky, 83, of Fullerton, died May 22, 2014, in his home. He was the husband of Mabel E. (Schantz) Kumernitsky for 65 year.

Born in Cementon, he was a son of the late Theodore and Julia (Ferkovich) Komarnicky.

He was a U.S. Army veteran.

He was a union laborer with Local 1174, working for various Lehigh Valley companies.

He was a life member of Fullerton Fire Company 1.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Anne M. and her husband Rodney Piovesan of Whitehall and Patricia A. and her husband Mike Larney of Breinigsville; four grandchildren, Michelle, Nicole, Bruce and Ciji; eight great–grandchildren; two sisters, Mary Fritzinger of Whitehall and Julie Biondo of New York; and nieces and nephews and their families.
