Deborah L. Cassidy

Deborah L. Cassidy, 47, of Catasauqua, died May 8, 2014, at Hahnemann University Hospital, Philadelphia, awaiting a liver transplant. She was the wife of Raymond J. Cassidy for 15 years.

Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of Sandra R. (Huber) Reichard and the late Jerome Pritko and was a stepdaughter of Edward J. Reichard.

She was a graduate of Allentown School of Cosmetology. She attended the Las Vegas hair shows.

She was a national educator for the Paul Mitchell School. She was a hairstylist at Empire Coiffuers, Easton, for five years and previously worked at BonTon for three years.

In addition to her husband, mother and step father, she is survived by two step children, Nicole V. and Raymond J. Jr. Cassidy; a grandmother, Margaret Pritko; her mother–in–law, Elaine Sparks; father–in–law, Joseph C. Cassidy; three brothers, Steve and his wife Vicki Pritko, Mark and his wife Lori Mattison, and Dan Reichard; two sisters, Kathy Reichard Ellavasky and Julie and her husband Alan Chad; a sister–in–law, Colleen Moritz and family; five nephews; Andrew, Daniel, Aiden, Justin and Derek; aunts; uncles; and cousins.

The will be a calling hour at 9 a.m. followed by the service at 10 a.m. May 16 at Cedar Lutheran Church, 3419 Broadway, Allentown, 18104.

Contributions may be made to the church memorial fund.

Arrangements were made by Trexler Funeral Home Inc., Allentown.
