Steve Symanovich, 83, formerly of Catasauqua, died May 1, 2014, at the Phoebe Home, Allentown. He was the husband of Barbara L. (Lloyd) Symanovich.

Born in Palmerton, he was a son of Mark and Serafina (Rodzko) Symanovich.

He was a retired U.S. Air Force master sergeant who served two tours in Germany, one in Turkey and one in the Philippines.

He was a member of Holy Trinity Orthodox Church, North Catasauqua.

He was a member of American Legion, Post 215.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Michael H. and his wife Darleen of Fountain Hill; a daughter, Helen M. and her husband Jim O'Brien of Mertztown; and two grandchildren, Melissa and Kelly O'Brien.
