Theft from motor vehicle

Reported by a resident along Meadow Lane, Lower Macungie Township, unknown actors took various items from unlocked vehicles between 11 p.m. May 3 and 9 a.m. May 4. Anyone with information may contact Pennsylvania State Police at 610-395-1438.

Reported in the 4800 block of Meadow Lane, Lower Macungie Township, items were taken from an unlocked vehicle parked in a driveway between 2 p.m. May 4 and 6 a.m. May 5. Anyone with information may contact Pennsylvania State Police at 610-395-1438.

Reported in the 1000 block of Treeline Drive, Lower Macungie Township, an unknown actor entered an unlocked vehicle and took a Nexus tablet computer, a Sony camera and a Tom Tom GPS unit with a total value of $1,050. Anyone with information may contact Pennsylvania State Police at 610-395-1438.

Reported in the 5600 block of Kart Drive, Lower Macungie Township, an unknown actor used a car jack and four soda crates to raise a vehicle and steal the wheels from the vehicle between 1 and 10:30 a.m. April 27. The unknown actor also took the car stereo and a portable electric battery charger from the unlocked vehicle. Anyone with information may contact Pennsylvania State Police at 610-395-1438.

Theft

Reported in the 3600 block of Clauss Drive, Lower Macungie Township, unknown actors entered a residence to tour the residence which is currently for sale and took a pair of 18kt white gold stamped diamond earrings valued at $2,000 from a dresser in the master bedroom. The unknown actor then concealed the earrings and left the residence after the tour. The investigation is continuing. Anyone with information may contact Pennsylvania State Police at 610-395-1438.

DUI

Thomas Brian Llewellyn, 34, of Bechtelsville, was taken into custody for suspicion of driving under the influence after the car he allegedly was driving was observed parked and running in a parking lot on Main Road West, just east of Spruce Road, Upper Milford Township, 2:41 a.m. May 3. Llewellyn allegedly showed various signs of impairment at the time.

Matthew Allen Craig, 22, of Bally, was taken into custody for suspicion of driving uner the influence after a one-vehicle accident in the 4000 block of Main Road West, Upper Milford Township, 2:41 a.m. May 3. Allen allegedly was driving westbound when he missed a right curve and traveled off the road where the vehicle struck a tree stump in a yard.

Found property

Reported at Walmart, 1091 Mill Creek Road, Lower Macungie Township, a sum of U.S. currency was turned over to Pennsylvania State Police after it was found in the store 7:15 p.m. May 2. If you believe the money is yours and want to claim it you should contact Pennsylvania State Police at 610-395-1438. Any inquiring parties will be required to provide a written statement as to the details of the currency including but not limited to denomination, date lost and location inside the store. Anyone making false claims will be prosecuted.

Robbery

Reported at Lower Macungie Middle School, 6299 Lower Macungie Road, Lower Macungie Township, a 14-year-old male has been taking money from another male while in school over several months.
