LVCHSA: Dance Quilt premier

The Lehigh Valley Charter High School for the Arts will hold the Dance Quilt premiere event at 2 p.m. May 17 and at 7 p.m. May 16 and 17 at the Morris R. Williams Center for the Arts, Lafayette College.The formal concert of faculty and guest choreographed works is directed by Kimberly Maniscalco. LVCHSA: Artist & Jazz exhibit, cafe

There will be an Artist & Jazz Cafe May 16 at the school, 675 E. Broad St. The art exhbit opens at 6 p.m. and will include art demonstrations and a silent art auction. The Charter Arts Big Band and various jazz ensembles will hold a concert at 7 p.m. at the Jazz Cafe. For information and tickets, visit www.CharterArts.org.

Liberty: Laptops offered

The Bethlehem Public Library is offering to lend a laptop for three hours to LHS students with school ID card when visiting the main branch, 11 W. Church St. The hours and days are 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Wednesday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday and Friday, and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday. Available programs are Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel. Projects are to be saved to USB drives or uploaded to student's Google Drive.

Liberty: Golf outing May 18

The Liberty Athletic Club third annual golf outing will be held May 18 at Southmore Country Club. Tee time is 1p.m. Hole sponsors, foursome entries and a raffle prize or a door prize donations are needed. For registration or sponsorship information, email dterry@basd.org. Poceeds support the Liberty Athletic Club.

Freedom: Cheerleaders car wash May 17

The Freedom HS cheerleaders will hold a car wash from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. May 17 at the Heights Market, 1811 Tenth St. at Freemansburg Ave.

Farmersville: International Night May 21

Mrs. Braun's fifth grade class will present International Night from 5 to 8 p.m. May 21at the school. More than 100 parents, teachers and friends are expected to attend. There will be a keynote about each country represented, a performance on stage, an artifact mat and authentic food samples. Mrs. Braun will be providing ziti, salad and chips with salsa.
