Petrik given Wilkes scholarship
Wilkes University David Petrik of Bethlehem was awarded the Mark Family Annual Scholarship at the University's annual scholarship luncheon on March 27. The junior environmental engineering major was chosen for having a financial need and maintaining a minimum 3.0 grade-point average.
Danyluk in college Who's Who
Katrina Danyluk of Bethlehem, a Kutztown University student, has been named to the Who's Who Among Students in American Colleges and Universities. To be included, students must have at least a 3.25 GPA and have demonstrated exemplary community involvement, leadership and commitment to volunteer service.
Honor society inducts two locals
Morgen Keating and Stephen Ogden of Bethlehem, Kutztown University students, have been inducted in to the Alpha Sigma Lambda Honor Society.

Dyonda inducted at Misericordia
Erica Dyonda, of Bethlehem, was inducted bythe Medical Imaging Department at Misericordia University into the Misericordia University Alpha Chapter of Lambda Nu, the national honor society for the radiologic and imaging sciences.
Yencho earns OT pin
Misericordia University student Beth Yencho of Bethlehem, enrolled in the weekend occupational therapy master's degree program, recently received her pin and presented a group research project during the annual Graduate Research Presentation Conference in Sandy and Marlene Insalaco Hall on campus.
The 18 month long collaborative research projects are closely mentored by faculty and are a requirement of the occupational therapy master's degree curriculum. The research topics were chosen collaboratively by Misericordia University faculty research committee chairs and student interest.
Students presented their findings by delivering 20-minute presentations on their research topics by using either a poster or podium format. The students will have their master's degree conferred in September and graduate in December. For more information, visit www.misericordia.edu/ot.
Wilson to sing in NYC premier
Joshua Wilson of Bethlehem, will perform the New York City premiere of Christopher Rouse's Requiem as a member of the Westminster Symphonic Choir and the New York Philharmonic conducted by Alan Gilbert at 7:30 p.m. May 5 at Carnegie Hall, New York City. The concert will also be broadcast live on WQXR-FM and online at www.wqxr.org.
He is a student at Westminster Choir College of the Arts, a division of Rider University, Princeton, N.J. which prepares students at the undergraduate and graduate levels for careers in teaching, sacred music and performance. Visit www.rider.edu/wcc.
