The Pennsylvania House of Representatives 135th District includes the city of Bethlehem (Northampton County portion) and parts of Bethlehem Township.

Incumbent Representative Steve Samuelson is running unopposed in the May 20 primary.

Why should voters re-elect you to the 135th?

I work hard to represent the people of the 135th District. I opposed Governor Corbett's education cuts and I support efforts to increase opportunities for our students. I have a strong environmental record; and I am a consistent advocate for reform in Harrisburg. As Democratic Chair of the Aging and Older Adult Services Committee, I have worked to protect the Lottery Fund so it continues to be used to benefit seniors.

I am a hands-on legislator with a long record of service to our community. My local constituent service office is one of the busiest in the state. With the help of my diligent staff, we have a strong reputation for effectively assisting citizens with individual concerns.
