Mary D. Kametz, 81, of Whitehall, died May 7, 2014, at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenberg, Bethlehem. She was the wife of Edward J. Kametz for 57 years.
Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Brezina) Polaha.
She was a cafeteria worker for East Hills Junior High School, Bethlehem. She worked previously at the former Western Electric Company, Allentown.
She was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church, Coplay.
She was a member of the Coplay Saengerbund.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by three sons, Kevin and his wife Kim of Wescoesville, John J. and his wife Brenda of Bethlehem, and Edward J. and his wife Sheri of Hellertown; five grandchildren; three great–granddaughters; two brothers, Joseph and William Polaha; a sister, Dorothy Lichman; nieces; and nephews.
