Police announced last week that an investigation in conjunction with the FBI resulted in an arrest of a man thought responsible for the April 16 prank phone call to Liberty HS which resulted in an hours-long lockdown and campus search for non-existent interlopers.

Phone records and security video footage at a local Wal-Mart store confirmed for police the identity of She Quawn Najee Watson, 25, of Emmaus Avenue in Allentown, as one of two purchasers of the disposable mobile phone.

Watson was arrested May 6 and charged with three counts of criminal conspiracy to commit terroristic threats, and one count each of criminal conspiracy to commit false alarms and false reports to law enforcement aganecies, all of felony grade. He was committed to Northampton County Prison in lieu of $100,000 bail.

The investigation is ongoing.
