On April 16, 2014, the YWCA of Bethlehem was presented a check in the amount of $1,300.00 from the
Junior League of the League of the Lehigh Valley for its TechGYRLS Program.
TechGYRLS is a highly successly nationwide YWCA after-school empowerment program that provides girls with opportunities to increase their skills in the use of technology and engineering - a key job skill in nearly every profession today. The TechGYRLS program provides after-school technology education to Bethlehem elementary and middle school girls. Girls get hands on experience using robotics, web design, videogame design and animation from an all-female staff.
