Whitehall police

A Whitehall Township man has been charged with manufacturing methamphetamine after a joint investigation by the Lehigh County Drug Task Force, Whitehall Township Police Department and the Allentown Police Department vice unit.

Hagen K. Scherberger, 40, of 3320 Center St., Apartment 171, Whitehall Township, was charged on April 25, with one count each of manufacturing methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.

On April 25, a consent search was executed at Scherberger's address. Detectives discovered a small methamphetamine cook, a bag containing a substance that field tested positive for methamphetamine and materials commonly used in manufacturing methamphetamine, the affidavit said.

As in every criminal case, the fact that an arrest has occurred or a complaint has been filed is merely an accusation; and the defendant, Hagen K. Scherberger, is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
