Relay team takes 1st

The Whitehall boys' 3200 relay team took first place with a time of 8:04.18 during Day 1 of the Lehigh Valley Conference Track and Field Championships.

A number of other Zephyrs put together remarkable days on the track and the field that awarded them a top-three finish.

Gabe Lamm finished second in the 3200 meter run (9:48.05), a little more than five seconds off winner Colin Abert of Easton.

Jean Falcon placed second in the high jump at 6-03, while Isaiah Cary earned a second-place finish in the triple jump at 44 feet flat.

The Whitehall girls' 3200 relay team also placed high on Tuesday, coming in third place with a time of 9:58.38.
