Forrest E. Heiser

Forrest E. Heiser, 85, of Whitehall, died April 29, 2014, at Fellowship Terrace, Whitehall. He was the husband of the late of Kathryn L. (Haas) Heiser for 63 years.

Born in Kutztown, he was a son of the late Charles and Edna (Herber) Heiser.

He was a self employed painter in the Lehigh Valley for 10 years. He worked for Armstrong World Wide Industries, Kuhnsville, for seven years. Prior to that, he was a shipping clerk for the former Lehigh Portland Cement Company, Fogelsville, for 17 years.

He was a member of Fellowship Community Bible Fellowship Church, Whitehall, and was an associate member of Morgenland Church, Orefield.

He was a member of the Junior Order of Mechanics, New Tripoli; and of Grundsow Lodge 15. He belonged to the Weisenberg/Lowhill Historical Society, and was a past treasurer of the Weisenberg One Room School House.

He is survived by a son, Roger D. and his wife Deborah of Manheim; a daughter, Brenda E. and her husband Richard Geiger of Hummelstown; a sister, LaRue Rex of New Tripoli; four grandchildren, Elizabeth and her husband Eric Velkly, Matthew and his wife Joanna Heiser, Christina and her husband Christopher Saikus, and Timothy and his wife Jessica Geiger; and three great- grandchildren, Conner and Tyler Velkly and Joshua Heiser.

Contributions may be made to the church, 3000 Fellowship Dr., Whitehall, 18052.
