Donald R. Henry, 78, of Slatington, formerly of Saddle Brook, N.J, died May 1, 2014, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township.

He and his wife Millie A. (Lenhart) Henry celebrated their 52nd wedding anniversary last Sept. 9.

Born June 15, 1935, in Hempstead, L.I., N.Y., he was the son of the late Robert B. and Ada C. (Patterson) Henry.

He was a yard supervisor at the Generating Station at PSE&G, Bergen County, N.J. for 45 years before retiring in 1993.

He faithfully and honorably served his country in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War era.

He was a member of Whitehall Bible Fellowship Church.

An avid motorcyclist, he was a member of the Goldwing Road Riders and the Riff Raff Riders.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by children, Karen L. Nilsen and her husband, Mark, of Schnecksville, Robert B. Henry and his wife, Heather, of Westwood, N.J., Dawn M. Stovall and her husband, Greg, of Coppell, Texas, Christine A. Small and her husband, Steve, of Crandall, Texas; eight grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.
