Barbara B. (BenVenuti) Lofland, 66, of Newark, Del. and formerly of Northampton, died April 25, 2014, in her home.

Born in Northampton, she was a daughter of the late Charles E. and Harriet M. (Miller) BenVenuti.

She was a 1965 graduate of Northampton High School. She graduated from West Chester State Teacher's College.

She was an elementary school teacher in the Newark, Del., Area School District for many years.

She was a member of Westminster Prebyterian Church, Wilmington, Del., and formerly attended St. Paul's U.C.C., Northampton.

She is survived by caregivers and friends, Beverly P. Williams and companion Gerald Robinson; Matthew Williams Sr.; Matthew Williams Jr.; and Travis, Jyaire and Nevaeh Williams; all with whom she resided.
