Richard Moyer II, 59, of Gilchrist, Texas, formerly from New Tripoli, died Good Friday, April 18, 2014, after a 15-month battle with cancer.
Born June 10, 1954, in Bethlehem, he was a son of the late Richard and Arlene Moyer.
He was a 1972 graduate of Dieruff High School.
He was the proud Dad and Pop-Pop to daughter, Chiara Clauss, and granddaughter, Adriana Clauss of Slatington.
Affectionately called Sweetie, he was the loving companion of Nancy J Bachman of Gilchrist, formerly from Slatington, for the past nine years.
A drywall and interior contractor for much of his life until relocating to Texas, he worked hard and played hard, having many hobbies including hunting, shooting darts, playing pool and fishing.
He loved life and enjoyed the Bolivar Peninsula on the Texas Gulf Coast, fishing and boating and helping run Miss Nancy's Bait Camp for the last five years.
He had many friends in both Texas and Pennsylvania.

There will be a private celebration of his life.
