Jeffrey J. Shelanick, 42, of Northampton, died recently at Lehigh Valley Hospital–Muhlenberg. He was the husband of Donna (Dudash) Shelanick for 11 years.
Born in Allentown, he was a son of James B. and Rosemarie (Filipovits) Shelanick Sr. of Northampton.
He worked at Keystone Cement Company for several years.
He was a member of the Northampton Liederkranz, the dart league, the American Legion, the Northampton Veterans of Foreign Wars and the L&M pool league.
He was a disc jockey.
In addition to his wife and parents, he is survived by a son, Tanner of Catasauqua; a stepson, Andrew Dudash of Hellertown; a grandson, Oliver Dudash; maternal grandmother, Mitzi Filipovits of Northampton; a brother, James Shelanick Jr. and Wendy Miller of Northampton; a sister, Lisa Shelanick and her companion Giovanni Landi of Northampton; mother-in-law, Lynda Dudash and her companion Daniel Hargrave of Hellertown; two sisters-in-law, Cari Coelho and Lisa Peteto, both of Hellertown; nieces; and nephews.
