Edgar A. Newhart, 52, of Walnutport, died April 19, 2014, at his home.

Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Edgar Newhart and Barbara (Matika) Newhart of Whitehall.

He played drums with his band.

He is survived by two daughters, Megan L. and Katelyn A.; a sister, Carolyn Dougherty; and companion, Lucille D. Fritzinger.

A calling hour will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. followed by a memorial service at 11 a.m. May 3, both at Zion Stone United Church of Christ, 51 Church Road, Kreidersville.
