Following an ongoing investigation into heroin sales in the city and area, police served a warrant and arrested a man and woman at 1120 Fritz Drive around 8 a.m. April 18.

According to police, Andre Carrasquillo, 35, and Erica Rivera, 36 were found at the residence with five children aged 10-16.

Also found were 93 bags of heroin, 27 grams of loose heroin, 4 bags of cocaine, 10 grams of loose cocaine, a scale and packaging materials and $4,800 in cash. The total value of the heroin was estimated at $14,000, and the total value of cocaine was estimated at $800.

Carrasquillo is charged with possession, intent to deliver and criminal use of communications offenses and was committed to Northampton County Prison in lieu of $50,000 bail.

Rivera's charges are pending.
