Individual charged with theft

Leonard Davidson, 25, of Allentown, was arrested April 22 on charges of theft and receiving stolen property.

Police responded to a call of theft in the unit block of North Eighth Street. The individual approached the porch and stole a package that was dropped off at the residence by UPS. The person then walked south on Eighth Street with the package.

Whitehall police located the suspect in the area of Fourth and Hokendauqua streets and apprehended the person.

Fire alarm

Police responded to a fire alarm that was activated mid-morning April 21 at 10 North Front Street.

The alarm, police said, was set off by a tenant boiling water.

Police responded to a report of a woman yelling at another woman April 27 in the unit block of North Second Street.

Police spoke to the parties involved and resolved the situation.

No charges were filed against any of the individuals.
