Viola E. Frey, 91, died April 21, 2014, in Cedarbrook Nursing Home, South Whitehall Township.

She was the wife of the late Earl D. Frey.

Born in South Whitehall, she was the daughter of the late Mervin E. and Edna G. (Mangold) Kuhns.

She was a member of the United Church of Christ congregation of Cedar Union Church, South Whitehall, where she took part in the women's fellowship, quilting, candy making and playing with the bell choir.

Her survivors include a daughter Jeanette E. Frey of South Whitehall; brother Arthur of Bethlehem; sisters Florence Hartzell of Emmaus and Doris Strauss of Kutztown.

She was predeceased by brothers Norman, Lewis, Raymond and Paul; and sisters Eleanor Ruppert and Mary Lou Shoemaker.

Her services will be 11 a.m. April 24, at Cedar Church, 3419 Broadway, South Whitehall.

Calling will begin at 10 a.m. and burial will follow at Cedar Union Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the church memorial fund.
