Paul C.A. Yeager Jr.

Paul C.A. Yeager, Jr., 81, of Brein-igsville, died Easter Sunday, April 20, 2014, in his home, surrounded by his loving family.

He and his wife Shirley L. (Follweiler) Yeager celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on April 3.

Born September 23, 1932, in Allentown, he was the son of the late Paul C.A. Sr. and Mary E. (Miller) Yeager.

He was a truck driver for Lehigh Litho Inc., Bethlehem, for several years before retiring.

Prior to that, he owned and operated The Bargain Man retail store, Bethlehem, and was a regional sales manager for the former John's Bargain Stores.

He faithfully and honorably served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War era.

A member of the American Legion Post 216, Topton, he was a life member of the Breinigsville VFW Post 8282.

He was a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ, Trexlertown, where he was an elder and formerly served on the consistory.

A 32nd Degree Mason, he was a member of the Jordan Martin F.&A.M. Lodge 673, Allentown, the Rajah Shrine, Reading, and was formerly an advisor for the Allentown Chapter of The Order of DeMolay.

In addition to his loving wife, he is survived by a daughter, Eileen K. Haas and her husband, Henry, of Allentown; sons Douglas P. and his wife, Pamela, of Northampton, Thomas L. of Providence Forge, Va. and James A. of Perkasie; and grandchildren Bryan, Christopher, Adam and Kaylee.

Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. April 25, at St. Paul's UCC,1249 Trexlertown Road, Trexlertown, with the Rev. Al Bastin officiating.

Family and friends may pay their respects from 7-8:30 p.m. Thursday in Heintzelman Funeral Home Inc., 4906 Route 309, Schnecksville, and from 9:30-10:30 a.m. Friday in the church.

Masonic service will be 8:30 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home.

Interment with military honors will follow the service at St. Paul's Cemetery Association.
