Nanette S. Kuhns, 79, formerly of South Whitehall Township, died April 14, 2014, in Cedarbrook Nursing Home, South Whitehall.

She was the wife of the late Charles R. Kuhns.

Born in Northampton, she was the daughter of the late Claude E. and Marguerite (Beck) Samuels.

Previously employed by Sears Roebuck and Lehigh Valley Electronics, she retired from Salisbury Township Authority in bookkeeping.

Along with her husband, she enjoyed "flipping houses."

She was a former member of St. James UCC, Allentown, where she taught primary classes and summer Vacation Bible School.

When not spending time with her grandchildren, she would enjoy a game of tennis and tending to her garden.

Her survivors include a son, Tracy R. of Tampa, Fla., and his four children, Carrie, Chana, Casey and Corey; daughters Abby L. of Brein-igsville, and her daughters Katherine and Madison; Susan, wife of Robert Dewalt, and their son William of Fogelsville; brothers Bruce B. and his wife, Janet, of Coplay, Joel D. and his wife, Linda, of Illinois; sister Pam G. Samuels of Bethlehem; and one great-grandson.

She was predeceased by six brothers and two sisters.
