The Catty softball team blanked Saucon Valley Tuesday.
It ended up a five-inning, 11-0 victory with the Roughs pounding out 11 hits.
Alexis Ayache went all five innings allowing four hits and three walks while striking out four. Catty improved to 9-1 in the league and 10-1 overall as the Panthers fell to 1-8, 1-11.
Danielle Lilly helped to get Catty going in the early stages. With already a 3-0 lead after one inning, Lilly hit a two-run homer in the bottom of the second to increase the Rough Rider lead to 5-0.
With the Roughs now up 6-0 heading into the bottom of the fifth, Abby Preletz helped to end things early with a three-run homer in the frame.
Ayache added two RBIs while Janae Matos, Shiloh Sziy and Amarys Moten chipped in with one RBI each. Hannah Edwards was 3-for-3 with two runs and Shea O'Brien was 2-for-3 with a double and two runs scored.
