Edward A. Gaspar, 71, of Bath, died April 13, 2014, at his daughter's home after a battle with cancer.
Born in Parryville, he was a son of the late, Frank J. and Ruth C. (Fink) Gaspar.
He was in the U.S. Army.
He owned and operated N&B Coal Company, Northampton, from 1973 to the present. He worked for Bethlehem Steel and Dragon Cement companies.
He is survived by two daughters, Angela and her fiancée Josh Sauders of Whitehall and Annette and her fiancée Scott Sigley of Allen Township; a son, Michael and his wife Melissa of Bath; a brother, Frank and his wife Sara of Whitehall; a sister, Christine and her husband Ron Stroh of Coplay; a brother, Stephen and his wife Cynthia of Walnutport; two grandchildren, Madison and Jackson; nephews; and cousins.
