Nanette S. Kuhns, 79, formerly of South Whitehall Township, died April 14, 2014, at Cedarbrook Nursing Home, Allentown. She was the wife of the late Charles R. Kuhns. Born in Northampton, she was a daughter of the late Claude E. and Marguerite (Beck) Samuels.
She worked for Sears Roebuck, Lehigh Valley Electronics and was retired from Salisbury Township Authority where she worked in bookkeeping.
Along with her husband, she enjoyed "flipping houses."
She was a former member of St. James United Church of Christ, Allentown, where she taught primary classes and summer vacation Bible school.
When not spending time with her grandchildren, she enjoyed a game of tennis and tending to her garden.
She is survived by a son, Tracy R., of Tampa, Fla., and his four children, Carrie, Chana, Casey and Corey; two daughters, Abby L., of Breinigsville and her daughters Katherine and Madison; and Susan and her husband Robert Dewalt and their son William, of Fogelsville; two brothers, Bruce B. and his wife Janet, of Coplay, and Joel D. and his wife Linda, of Illinois; a sister, Pam G. Samuels, of Bethlehem; and a great-grandson.
She was predeceased by six brothers; and two sisters.
Burial to be private.
