The Whitehall Township great cleanup day will be held 8 a.m. April 26.

Volunteers or groups can meet at the front door of the municipal building, 3219 MacArthur Road, for locations and supplies.

On Friday, May 2, St. John's United Church of Christ, 575 Grape St., Whitehall, will hold a Longaberger basket bingo.

Doors open 6 p.m. and games begin 7 p.m.

There will be 20 games, specials, Chinese auction, 50/50, chance, door prizes and the kitchen will be open.

AARP Chapter 3115 will meet noon, May 1 at the American Club, 300 Cherry St., Coplay.

Refreshments will be available during the social hour.

Robert Muth will speak on protecting family assets using trusts.

Nonperishable items for the food bank will be accepted.
